AC motor operates simply by connecting the capacitor and the supply of electricity from commercial power source. Oriental Motor offers a wide range of standard AC motors of frame sizes ranging from 1.65 inches ( 42 mm) to 4.09 inch ( 104 mm) square with a power output of 1 / 750 HP ( 1W) to 1 / 4 HP ( 200 W) . There are two basic types of AC motor: standard induction motor, which continues to run and a reversible motor which allows for bi-directional operations. AC motors with additional functionality is also available. Types of motors include: motor electromagnetic brake to hold the load in the power-off situation; motorcycle clutch & brake for quick start and stop; synchronous motor and low speed synchronous motors for fixed speed in synchronization with the frequency of power; waterproof motor for motor applications is splashed or washed with water and the motor torque to control the voltage and winding applications.

Many Oriental Motor AC motor in accordance with UL / / CSA and EN standards apply CE Marking in accordance with low voltage directives. AC motors are available in power supply voltage that meets the requirements of North America, Asia and Europe
