MATERIAL & FUNCTION
FOREST COLD WASH is a concentrated detergent powder formulation for use in both cold and hot water. The concentrated detergency of FOREST COLD WASH provides for economical cleaning of the highest order, since only half the amount of other detergent powders is required in the wash cycle. Improved sequestering and water-conditioning compounds contained in FOREST COLD WASH ensure thorough penetration of fabrics and excellent grease and soil scavenging in hard water areas.
FOREST COLD WASH contains a pleasant floral perfume to leave clothes and other wash items charged with a fresh floral fragrance.
APPLICATION
The controlled foaming of FOREST COLD WASH allows its use in all household and commercial washing machines. It is especially suited to front-loading washing machines.
The formulation of FOREST COLD WASH offers advantages to users of specialised detergents in the commercial, industrial, hospital and institutional laundry fields. For normal household applications, use 30 – 50 gms per 8 – 10 kg dry weight of linen (i.e. 3 – 5 gms Forest Cold Wash per kg dry weight of linen depending on the level of soiling).
The following features of FOREST COLD WASH are properties which clearly demonstrate that it is a superior product:
l. Exceptional Rinseability.
The benefits of this are three-fold
First, it is usually possible to reduce the number of rinses thereby decreasing water and sewerage costs. More importantly, the time of the wash cycle is reduced, allowing more washes per machine per day.
Secondly, suspended soils are more easily removed from the fabric weave, unlike soap residues, which tend to remain in the work despite a number of rinses.
Thirdly there is no specific requirement for the use of a sour.
2. Tolerant to Hard Waters
Every launderer is familiar with the scale and lime-soap deposits that build up on the outside of the cage, and the inaccessible areas of the washing machine. FOREST COLD WASH contains softeners, which act to condition water and remove scale by solubilising calcium and magnesium salts. The benefits of the formulation are threefold.
First, Down time required to clean badly scaled machines is reduced dramatically.
Second, Addition of hard water sequesterants to the wash cycle is unnecessary.
Third, Non-Selectivity - FOREST COLD WASH is formulated for use with most fabrics and is suitable for use with synthetics.
3. Built in Activated Oxygen Bleach.
This built in oxygen bleach is pre activated and consequently works very well even at lower wash temperatures.
The following washing cycles have been introduced in many industrial and commercial laundries with economy in material used and labour time.
A reduction in wash time of 25% is a regular feature of laundry operation when FOREST COLD WASH is introduced.
