Teflon ( PTFE) , compared to other engineering plastics, has an outstanding chemical resistance. Due to its low friction and very smooth surface, Teflon material is particularly suitable for the manufacture of high-temperature seals, insulators and bearings. These parts are most oftenly used in semiconductor, aerospace & chemical processing industries. On top of that, Teflon has also been approved as a food-safe material to be used in food processing applications.
